We are staying in Oahu for a week and decided to do their 3 day car rental deal. It was a great price. We rented their smart car. We unfortunately ended up having a tire blow out on our second day. We let them know about the incident and they (Vince and another guy working the front desk) gladly took care of the blow out and gave us a replacement car and extra hours for the time we missed out. Super amazing customer service for that! Can't wait to rent w you guys next time we come out!!

Vince and Nico at 808 Smart Car Rentals are super nice and friendly. This was my first time driving around Oahu and they made the whole process super smooth.
I didn’t have a reservation on NYE but Vince went out of his way to make sure I was looked after.
I was looking for a car with Apple CarPlay because I needed maps, and even though there weren’t many cars available, Vince made it happen. Vince looked after me and I’m super appreciative.
The car was awesome and I had a great time exploring the island. HIGHLY recommend getting a car with a screen so you can drive safely (especially for an Aussie used to driving on the other side)

We booked the car day before we needed it, luckily we did because it was busy as there the next day. Recommend contacting ahead of time.

Unluckily we got 2 flat tyres 35mins away on our return trip. We dont blame the company at all and they were very good in helping the situation. The multiple phone numbers to get assistance made it a bit confusing, however the team got us back to the lot safe and sound.

I was grateful to rent a car from 808 Smart Car Rental company. Because they have the car available when I needed. I visited Waikiki early 2024. I knew I needed a car but didn't know when. So, I didn't make advance reservation.

One day, I walked around my hotel to find this rental car company located right on Nohonani Street near Ala Wai, I think the website says it's at Seaside Ave. Either way. I was happy that I could drive around the island without hassles. Employees were super nice. I would definitely rent from them again.

Great experience! Probably the best rental car prices on the island! I rented a smart car during my stay at the Monarch Hotel. Very professional and courteous staff! Easy pick-up and return! The car was older but handled great! Also, received a big discount on the nightly parking rate at the Monarch Hotel parking garage. Highly recommend! Looking forward to renting from 808 Smart Car Rentals again! Mahalo!!

Second time using 808, first time at the Seaside St location.

We rented a smart car this time and didnt have any issues. The 24hr drop off at the Seaside location was fantastic as it meant we weren't rushed throughout the day and then we didnt have to worry about finding a parking lot overnight.

Loved this place.
The front desk lady ( I forget her name ) was very friendly. The car was ready when they said it would be. She said not to worry about a little bit of sand, so I didn’t and I didn’t get charged a b.s cleaning fee.
They’re true to their word. Dropped the car off after hours and was a very easy experience.
Would recommend to family and friends.
